As a baseball fan, you have to respect that a softball chucker like Lieber sttod up to Pedro for 7 innings. Lieber isn't some high price talent they overpaid for. He was brought in to be a No. 4-5 starter and is paid a little above the league average for No. 3 starters, which is what the Red Sox and YAnkees get for No. 5 starters. He had the game of his life.

Pedro wasn't a slouch. He didn't hang the homerun pitch, it was pulled over the short porch in right. But it was a great inside pitch to a low outside hitter. Pedro didn't make any mistakes, he just flat out got beat. The series will get better in Boston. No way this is a sweep. Brown will get roughed up and the Yankees always fret over Wakefield. Lowe for Game 5 is shaky against the yankees, but I see this going 6 or 7 games.

are not sweating it out yet! we KNOW this is our year and we will sweep in boston and then win game 6 in the bronx (it cannot go 7 games as i will be on the first day of my second honeymoon with my wife adn I don't know how she will feel about playoff baseball and my mood swings during it)
