5. I have three Maine Coons,
all very large, all of whom want my constant attention. Does that answer your question? I consider myself fortunate to be allowed to do ANYthing - including take a pee - without all three clamoring to be ON me somewhere. One clings to my neck like a baby monkey.

6. Hug the cat. Suddenly, passionately hug the cat.
While you are hugging the cat, croon, "I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you!"

Cat will leave you alone for hours.

8. A Doberman's head lodged on the keyboard
doesn't work too well either! Unfortunately for me, he's just the right height.

9. Yes I have!
But my kitty has passed away. He used to try to sit on the computer just to get my attention and sometimes he would place his paw on my hand to get me to stop typing and pay attention to him!

I miss him!

10. My 13 pound Shihtzu often sits in my lap with her front paws perched on my
right arm... as she sleeps or just stares off into space and daydreams. It's okay for about 10 minutes... but then it gets old.
