Are you boring in the realm of food like I am?
When I drink whiskey, it's straight up or with three ice cubes, I don't drink weird ass creations with funny names. When I drink tea, I pass on the specialty crap - good old earl grey or orange Pekoe - straight up.

Sour Cream? I put it on nothing! When the food gets to me the sour cream is cast aside with the salsa and chipotle.

Cheese? What's that? Parmesan on pasta or cheddar on burgers.

Whine? Nope not for this cowboy.

A common Sandwich for me is no more than ham, lettuce, mayonnaise and green peppers.

The list goes on.... I'm boring in many ways. I think it's cause I'm an form of purist. My only extravagant partaking is nice suits, sport coats and the like. I get called "Boring" all the time. When it comes to my eating habits.

Another odd fact - I won't eat a club sandwich unless it's cut in quarters. I don't care if they say "We can cut it in quarters for you." I still won't order it unless it is the policy of the establishment to do so.

You? How boring are you?

7. When I was a kid
In class, all the other kids eating with their mouths open...grossed me out. I had a sandwich phobia for years.

9. I had a weird thing happen involving BLTs
I ate one, then our family came down with a stomach virus shortly right afterward, and that had been the last thing I ate. So, now I can't even think of that sandwich. :scared:

4. So no stir-fried sea cucumber for you
It doesn't taste that great and it's got the texture of a rubber band. You're not really missing that much other than the change to brag to your friends about how you ate a tasteless sea-dwelling invertebrate while in asia.

6. I HAVE to be pretty boring in my food choices
I used to be able to eat anything, put a pint of beer away in a couple gulps (a neat trick!) all sorts. Now since I was ill, it's snoresville. when I rebel-well-you don't wanna know.

8. I am the bizarro Hey Hey - I make green cuury paste from scratch
I make EVERYTHING from scratch and I like my sushi exotic - I don't give a rats ass about suits (which is why the most common difference between the fianc´é and I is dressing :) )

10. I used to like food
I might have to go on a special diet soon to help out my health.
Back when I liked food, I liked a large variety. I always have been into herbs, spices, and sauce. Sometimes, I got into ruts such as ordering the same thing everytime I went to a particuliar resturaunt. Sometimes that lead to me never eating that particuliar thing again though. I was raised on a large variety of things, instead of being fed kid food like many kids of my generation, so I like a variety of things. I don't think that I was very boring with food. That was one reason I always ate too much at buffets or potlucks.

11. Sorry but....
Green peppers on a ham sandwich with lettuce and mayo IMO is very weird LOL!

In all seriousness I have never heard of putting green peppers on a cold sandwich.

14. I do
When I get a sub at subway, I usually get lettuce, green pepper, onion, mayo, and cucumbers on my sandwich. I had never thought to put regular cucumbers on a cold meat sandwich until I saw that they had it as a topping.

12. I love to cook!
Try a jar of Ragu (unless there's something cheaper)
Thai red curry paste
Cholula hot sauce
onion powder
black pepper (cracked, not ground)
a couple drops of Dave's Insanity Sauce
celery salt
cayenne pepper

Puree together and pour on rotini pasta.

My brothers don't let me cook for them. I don't know why.

15. I have eaten escargots, chocolate-covered ants...
...and various wild vegetables that most people would call "weeds." I love exotic curries, strange new ingredients, and recipes that call for familiar ingredients to be used in unfamiliar ways.

And you know, that thing about club sandwiches? That's not boring. That's just plain obsessive-compulsive.
