Ghost of Babe Ruth on No Fly list, misses game 7, Sox win

The Department of Homeland Security is scrambling to find a reason that Babe Ruth's ghost was delayed from making an appearance in game seven of the ALCS, thereby assuring the Boston Red Sox of a victory over the New York Yankees.

Tom Ridge, in an interview after the game, said that in a country with over 290 million people it was only natural that one or two ghosts end up on the No Fly list by accident. "We're real live people. We make mistakes," said Ridge.

Senator Ted Kennedy of Massachussetts said, "I never thought that during my lifetime I would see anything as outrageous as this happen. People, regardless of living or dead, should be able to travel without the risk of being unlawfully detained. I just hope that we get this straightened out by the end of the year."
