John Kerry was funny last night!

I posted this in the MN forum but thought I would share it here too! I went to the huge rally in Minneapolis last PM. I was lucky to get a red ticket which meant I was in about the tenth row from the front. I had a great view of Kerry throughout his speech. At on point he was saying something like.."What are we going to do about the problems facing America?" Several people near me were yelling GET RID OF BUSH! and FIRE BUSH! Kerry came over to our side of the stage and bent down as if he were whispering to us and said, "I'm getting to that part! You see I'm working up to this big crescendo when I'm gonna say Get Rid Of Bush! But first....were gonna have some fun!" He was so endearing at that point. Everyone near us was laughing! He also said, "America deserves a president who can do more then one thing at a time!"
After the rally a small group of us were standing on the corner when the Kerry motorcade came through! Kerry was sitting right by the window. He was bending over looking out the window giving us two thumbs up! It was a very fun rally! Go Kerry!

3. Here in Iowa, we got about...

250-300 trained "counter demonstrators". Theirt job is to totally surround any hecklers, etc.. and drown them out with yelling and obscure them with signs....all very peaceful and civilized of course. Really pisses 'em off, its hilarious.
