Poll question: Favourite (Rock era) string arranger?

For me, Van Dyke Parks towers over all, followed by Martin, Kirby and Nitzsche.

6. No, I'm a fan of his work on Let it Bleed and Harvest.

And of course, as Night Train says, all that great Spector work.
The biggest trouble I had was spelling his name right.

The good thing about this poll is that these are all guys whose work I love.

9. I think people just pick George Martin as a default, don't they?
I mean, he's good, but he's not the best.
