Then this is how you should do it.

20 years after the film was released--and with a small fandom--The Banzai Institute is still being updated.

Now THAT is dedication to a film!

4. Holy Shit
I didn't know that Jamie Lee Curtis was cut from the film as Buckaroo's mother!!

HAPPY FAMILY: From the deleted prologue from The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, Jamie Lee Curtis stars as Dr. Sandra Banzai, wife of Dr. Masado Banzai and mother to young Buckaroo Banzai, seen here celebrating his birthday. This prologue was cut from the theatrical version of the docudrama, but has been restored to the film in the DVD version, now available from MGM Home Video. Photo by Bruce McBroom.

6. Oh brother, where art thou?
My NEW cult film.

Love the music - reminds me of what I used to listen to at my granny's house as a kid.

The movie itself as a modern adaptation of the odyssey....

Buckaroo Banzai was quite good too... I'm also a Monty Python fan.

Three stooges too...

Just weird, I guess

7. When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck,
Edited on Fri Oct-22-04 10:58 PM by helnwhls
taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, looks you crooked in the eye and asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."

Jack Burton Big Trouble in Little China.

Best. Cult. Movie. Ever.(that I own)

12. My new cult film is going to be Serenity.
I know, it won't be out in theaters until April 22, 2005 (Earth That Was Day?), but it's the movie based on Joss Whedon's Firefly TV show, and I am a rabid fan in the throes of withdrawal.

Join the Browncoats!
