I saw CAKE last night in concert.

and they were great!

Highlights:

Last of three-song oncore: "I Will Survive" introduced as a song of hope for the times we are living in.

After singing the song with the chorus "Shut The F*ck Up" the singer went on to say if Cheney can tell a Senator to go Fuck Himself in the Senate Chambers, then he can say it from a concert stage, since the VP made it acceptable to use the F-Bomb.

"Never There" and "Comfort Eagle" were simply amazing!

Lowlights: Opening band sucked ass.

3 white female so-called singers doing incomprehensible putrid hip-hop crap. Couldn't understand a word of it. But they had all the "MTV Raps" mannerisms down pat.

Spice girls meet the Beasties without *any* talent.

Best thing I could say was their drummer had a killer afro...

Other than that, we walked out and smoked outside for 1/2 hour until they had left the stage.
