Congratulations to Coach Sly Croom and the MSU Bulldogs
for Coach Croom's first Southeastern Conference Win. As some of you college football fans know, Coach Croom is the first African American football coach in the Southeastern Conference. That may not be a big deal in Alaska, but it was huge news in the South when he was hired last December.

Coach Croom coaxed a badly outmanned MSU team to a 38-31 win over the 20th ranked Florida Gators.

Coach Croom is a great guy and many people believe he was overlooked for a head coaching position for a long time because of the color of his skin. At 49 years of age, he got his shot with MSU.

If you need a second favorite team to follow, adopt Coach Croom and the Bulldogs.

MSU has little talent, but they are strong on heart and desire.
