Two polls yesterday on CNN indicate a rather troubling trend.
Something like 2/3rs of those polled beleived that the explosives issue was somewthing that should be addresssed in the campaign.
Even more, over 3/3rd of those polled asked if after the election would they close ranks and get behind the new president, said no, that they would not support the new president if he was not their choice, while only one third said they would., No matter who is elected, it loosk like we are in for much divided times. Though Kerry is an unknown as president, and if he brings back Clinton prosperity, perople are likely to not complain much, while Bush has a recrld, and if the economy remains as anemic as it has been over the last 4 years (even with the terorist attacks and the recession, there has been more than ehoough time for BUsh to have brought back employment to the pre-recession levels, as well as for him to have brought the markets back up to where they were at the hight of the CLinton Presidency), there is every indication that the economy ewill not get better for anyone but the very wealthy in a second Bush term.
