I agree - those PFLAG commercials on AAR are kind of silly.

What are they saying? That gay marriages will be just as miserable as straight ones?

Who didn't know that? Marriage is goofy to begin with.

:silly:

2. There's a guy leaving a message on the answering machine...
Edited on Thu Oct-28-04 08:20 PM by devilgrrl
he's basically stating that "honey, I'm still at the office - gonna be late - sorry and stuff..." Hint, hint, nudge nudge. ?????

I think they're implying that hetero's don't respect the sanctity of marriage to begin with - so why not let gays marry? However, to me, it sounds like gay marriages are doomed to be just as miserable as straight ones.

3. That may very well be.
But I think it's best to let us judge that for ourselves.

6. Nah, you took it wrong. Post #4 got it right. It's just supposed to show
that under shrub's crappy economy you now have to work long hours for no overtime pay. Wait, I mean you're just supposed to assume it's a hubby leaving a message for a wife, cuz it just sounds so REGULAR, and then you go, Oh, they're gay.

But I guess if they can be so horribly misinterpreted, they failed somewhere.
