what bird is the most evil?
I was thinking to myself the other day "I would look really cool if I had a really evil bird accompany me around everywhere I went." But I have thus far been unable to think of what bird would be the most evil to have as a pet.

So what do you think? What bird is the most evil?

They were all walking around, Like nothing at all was wrong, One suddenly Jumped on my boyfriends leg and began Pecking (I think they call it flogging) him visciously. I mean this thing was mad and out for Blood. It tore a hole in His Jeans and was going for bare skin when we finally got the thing off him.

58. A chicken did that to me once.
I was climbing out of my car at a pottery workshop and a chicken ran up to me and attacked my leg. Drew blood. I mentioned it to the potter and he laughed.

All birds bite. I know this. I have had three birds as pets in recent years. They are vicious. They bite. Any parrot will do.

Cockatiels are nice. If you want a really vicious bird, don't buy a cockatiel. Buy a parrotlet.

12. The Blue Footed Booby
We saw thousands of them in the Galapagos. They make their nest on flat pieces of land (ie-paths) and shit 360 degrees to mark their nests. They love to shoot shit.

If you don't want people bugging you, it is the right choice.

But, they're also quite stupid.

22. They can do evil things...
wasps that lay their eggs in host insects that are paralyzed. The eggs are laid in such a place that the host insect lives as long as possible while being eaten from the inside by the larvae.

Cuckoo's that lay their eggs in other birds' nests. The resulting babies then toss the other inhabitants out to die while they're raised by the adoptive parents.

Orcas that spend hours separating a baby humpback from its mother, only to eat the meat around the jawbone and let the rest sink. They also torture seal lions for fun, tossing them around like a ball.

Life ain't a disney movie.

tossing a sea lion for fun is not survival. Killing a baby whale and only eating a tiny portion of it is not survival.

There are many other examples of animals behaving cruelly.

66. I wouldn't call any of that evil
That's just them doing what they are wired and created to do.

The baby humpback that falls to the bottom of the ocean will be food for other animals. It'll all get eaten.

Perhaps the tossing of the sea lions is a tenderizing maneuver. And even if not, doesn't matter. That's just what they do.

like the mosquito that bites, and the bee that stings and the jellyfish and rattlesnake that poisons...

Crows are meaner than hell itself. Vultures can also claim some degree of bottomfeeding infamy.

20. Raven or Crow
they aren't evil but they do carry off the appearance. Smart humorous and probably illegal to keep (migratory)

Vultures are actually kind of clumsy and doofy.

Some people are superstitous about owls but not really evil.

If you could see the doorways and wooden chairs in my house and the sunvisors, weatherstrip, and backs of the seats in my vehicles you would know the true evil bird is a Macaw.

It forages like a vulture, but it is a type of falcon, so it looks more evil, as opposed to the basic Eisenhower/Elmer Fudd look of a vulture. It's the bird that eats the snake on the Mexican flag.

52. Cassowary

The Cassowary has Gondwanaland origins (when much more of Australia was covered by rainforests).

There are two other cassowary species in New Guinea.
It lives to about 50 years of age.
Despite being a bird, the Cassowary is Australia’s largest land animal.
It normally weighs about 60kg, but the heaviest recorded was 83kg.
Its eggs are the third largest of all birds at an average 584g (after the Ostrich eggs at 1100g and Emu eggs at 637g).
Even though it is large and colourful, it can be hard to see in the rainforest. At close quarters it may be quite frightening.
It has powerful legs and if provoked may kick in defence. The sharp nails on its inner toes can easily rip flesh so the Cassowary is capable of killing humans...
