Which product tops this?
Oh my god, it's an "Hokey Pokey Elmo" from Fisher Price commercial.

And if this were 1975, they'd have a Jimmy JJ Walker doll that kept saying "DYN-O-MITE!!!" (without the studio audience applause, mind you...)

What next, a Barney doll that's the size of a toilet paper cardboard cylinder that vibrates on demand? I mean, we all know what Barney is shaped like and somebody would learn from using the thing, though I'd rather not fathom who...

2. Yup, el Chick-o Elmo tops the hokey pokey elmo all right!
How sad. I recently had an opportunity to watch the show. It's nothing BUT Elmo, some other 'monsters', and far fewer token humans than there were 25 years ago. The content seemed dumbed down as well; they tell the kids what "12" looks like but never bothered to put "12" into proper context. I mean, even "12 banana creme pies" would have been a proper start! :D

I wonder if the profits, and this stuff is obviously quite profitable, goes back into the making of the program or PBS itself? (I would never cut funding for PBS, but their own products should go back into the program and network.)

"Hello Kitty" vibrator - that's the cleanest double entendre I've ever heard!
