What Powers Would You Give The Ultimate Liberal Subversive Superhero?
Edited on Mon Sep-22-03 10:28 PM by khephra
The ones off the top of my head:

Telepathy
Invisibility
teleportation
non-detection
hightened senses of all types

Suggestions?

I'm thinking of someone like a superpowered version of The Question, but with a more liberal take...someone who would use their powers to find out secrets and expose them.

4. I actually hear Wonder Woman is good as a comic again

Every 5 or 7 years someone comes on the title and really gives it a pro-feminist view...this seems to be the new high-point of the cycle.

Strange thing is, it always happens when a male writer comes in and explores the Greek mythology side of the character.

11. You did know that WW lost her powers when tied up by a man
originally, so I've heard.

The early WW stuff was borderline bondage comics.

3. Mental C-SPAN viewing

16. The "Gay-zer"
Here's my idea: our superhero has the ability to turn even the most ardent heterosexual conservative into a flaming homosexual for 30 minutes. Probably not much use to that, other than sheer entertainment for the rest of us. Imagine Jerry Falwell in leather chaps, a leather vest, and a big black moustache. Yeah, that would never get old.

By the way, I'm sorry if anything I said offended anyone. I'm not trying to demean or belittle anyone. I would just like to see Christian conservatives become what they hate (or what they really are inside).

18. That power is used in Grant Morrison's "The Filth"
Not exactly that power, but one man has the power to cause anyone to live out his sexual desires for him.

Nasty stuff....
