At the very least, Bush's efforts to seek U.N. assistance will help the president blunt Democratic criticism of him for avoiding the world body. But that will not get him on the offensive. The problem, said a Senate GOP aide, is "there are no actions available to bolster his rhetoric. There's no leverage."

6. I'll bet he is going with promises of spending
our tax dollars to bribe UN countries. Look Germany has already agreed to help restore Iraq...what did the US promise them? I just hope the UN is able to see through shrub's lies and bullying. Somehow I doubt it.
