3. I was afraid of that. IE = Internet Explorer if that helps

Every Windows program has a solid bar at the top. I think the default color is blue, but maybe that's a color scheme I chose somewhere along the line. In the past, when you were looking at a thread on DU, this bar showed basically gobbledygook (DU Post# xxxxxxxx); now it shows the subject line. I hope that was somewhat clearer, and apologize for my inability to speak either clear Microsoft or clear English.

the very top of your open window where the little - and x are look over at the top right corner, see it? now look over at the top... it give you the topic of the discussion you are participating in. this is a good thing, I have often forgot what thread I was reading, this will come in handy in the future. supposed to see this? Right now I am looking at this page and I don't see any such thing at the top right hand corner....Everyone else knows what you mean so it must be me....I don't know all the computer lingo...Never took any kind of a course and just learned it by myself so there's lots I don't understand I guess....
