Bush’s chances in 2004?
Can Bush win in 2004?

I would have posted this as a poll, perhaps someone else can, but I’m not a donor. I would like to know what you think Bush’s chances for reelection in 2004 are. I want your honest option, not wishful thinking. Let’s assume things carry on as they have and that nothing unpredictable happens.

What do you think?

4. If the election were held today
I think he'd win. But things are only going to get worse for him from now on. Even another war and/or another terrorist attack would look like failures, not successes for him.

7. Did you read the latest poll?
If it was held today Clark would win by three percentage points.

13. If you say so
I'm not going to debate what should have happened 2 years ago. What did happen at the end of the day was that Bush had more electoral votes, thus winning over Gore who had more popular votes.

My point was not to bring up 2000, but to say that polls (which are popular) that show one person 3 points ahead are meaningless unless that person is ahead in the right states.

5. Watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat
Bush will win.

"Something" will happen to either rally the country around our Wise and Courageous Leader, OR there will be a pretext to delay or cancel the election OR the Democratic candidate will be "taken out" OR all voting will be rigged by a virus written for Dibold's proprietary software.

Team Bush has all the bases covered. No wonder Dubya smirks so often.

If, by chance (as in landslide voting for the Deomcrats) Bush does lose, be prepared to accept punishment in the form of an immediate, cataclysmic energy crisis.

6. Its looking good
that he will be gone, gone gone. But you can't relax even the tiniest bit with these people. Rove will spin and smear whoever the Dem candidate is, they will lie and fear monger and twist reality through the corporate media.

BUT the last election was 50/50 (give or take a half million votes) AND 2,500,000 jobs have evaporated (many never to return) since the Little Weasel started squatting in the White House AND Iraq is a disaster and will not improve any time soon AND Saddam's infamous WMDs haven't existed in a decade which adds up to

"Na na na-na, hey hey, GOODBYE"

to the Chimp.

11. 50-50 in a FAIR election
However, with the voting machines, I'd say 70-30.
