The college radio thread
I love college radio. Let's get a group of them in this thread.

My favorite is Milwaukee School of Engineering radio WMSE 91.7FM. Highly eclectic and way cool.
Enjoy and add to this thread of favorite college radio stations.

1. I meant to say that WMSE can be listened to via computer all over the
world, and that surely there are other college stations with that capability, but perhaps not as cool.

2. How NICE for you!! Wish we had it here!
Our NPR station used to be college radio, now they are just a slightly refined top 40 station that plays a LOT of hillbilly music. Yee-hah!!!!

6. 91.9 KDSU (U-92) at North Dakota State University...
Plays a lot of good stuff in a wide range of genres, from reggae to alternative to metal to jazz to techno.

770 Radio K at University of Minnesota is sweet too.

I stayed in Milwacky, right up the street from the school, for 6 weeks on a tech project. Got hooked on it then, and still listen online. out of Seton was pretty cool too. Over here on the west side, is a nice listen.

new and old acoustic folk, blues, some jazz, and a little taste of most every kind of good music . . . Irish music on the weekends . . . and a couple of old NYC rock jocks (Pete Fornatale, Vin Scelsa) for a little informed 60s & 70s nostalgia on Saturdays . . . check it out . . .

My favorite....you can just barely get it here in the Philadelphia area. Reminds me of what WXPN (U of Penn.) was before they went from being ground breaking to being a little comfy womfy zone for aging white hippies. No offense aging hippies, I'm sorta one myself.
