If they could get one of those two, that would be pretty good by me. Maybe they can get rid of Tony Batista, I hate seeing him at third base, not diving for grounders that he could reach if he'd just get dirty. Ugh. And then he never hits in the clutch.

Personally, I'm wondering if Hargrove is going to get retained or not. I'd hope that they wouldn't fire him, because he's done a phenomenal job as manager despite the fact that they've given him teams that are mediocre at best. I don't know who else they could get who could do a better job than him.

Alas, perhaps next year will finally be the year to come out of the funk...
