I have to confess my guilty pleasure this morning.
Last night I bought a CD called "The Best of '80s Pop Party Songs".
I got it because it has the song Melt with You by Modern English and I love that song, probably because it's from the movie Valley Girl. It also has the B52's Love Shack, Wild, Wild West by The Escape Club, Devo's Whip it and others like that. I am listening to it as I type and it is putting me in a good mood and waking me up.
Flame away, I'm a bopping now.

LOVE the movie Valley Girl- am thinking of getting it for my DVD collection. Whatever happened to DEVO? They were so very odd.

I'm a pretty big music snob, but I have about five or six 70 minute discs worth of prime 80's material that I listen to all the time. Especially the new wavish stuff that was big. There's no guilt in that at all.
