Poll question: Which Is More Important, Shoes or Pants?

I ask, because there's this very cool pair of shoes I want that cost $130, which at first doesn't seem bad until I think about it and realize I could get 2 really nice pairs of pants for that amount of money.

So which is more important, good footwear, or good legwear?

Think of it this way: Imagine George Wanker Bush without shoes. Then imagine him without pants. I think he, like many other totally repulsive life forms, NEEDS to wear pants more than he needs to wear shoes. For aesthetic reasons there have to be pants in the universe, though shoes might be optional.
