A Tunisian astrologer who reportedly predicted the deaths of Princess Diana, Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and Yasser Arafat says President Bush will be killed by an assassin's bullet in 2005.

So seriously are Hassan al-Sharibi's predictions taken in the Arab world that a similar prophecy about Palestinian Liberation Organization leader Mahmoud Abbas has resulted in increased security around the candidate to replace Arafat as president of the Palestinian Authority.

Abbas' aides put a "great deal of credence" in the prediction, according to a source quoted by the Jerusalem Post.

However, the paper tempered its report by saying critics label Sharibi "a quack with flair who relies on logic and wishful thinking. After all, predicting Yassin's assassination – he was Israel's 'public enemy No. 1' – and the death of an already ailing Arafat are hardly major feats."

just as it says his "predictions" were hardly earth shattering. But bookmark this anyway--just in case. I should add that I would rather have Bush removed from office through a criminal investigation than an assassins bullet.

that could be the worst thing to happen to this country.
a. Cheney would be President.
b. The spin doctors would be working overtime to pin this to the enemy du jour (i.e. "liberals" or "terraists").
c. I would never wish death upon him. Exile- maybe. Death- never.

BTW, as far as these so-called prophets or predictors, you only hear about the things that have come true, and not the thousands of things they predicted that never materialized. I'll bet the batting percentage of this guy is around .001 percent.

7. Why do we always hear about correct predictions AFTER

something happens, like his predicting the deaths of Diana and Arrafat. I didn't read his predictions BEFORE their deaths. So NOW he says he predicted those things?
