1. I feel so bad for the Bears
I guy who went to college where I did and was a superstar in our division was signed by the Bears and I guess gets to play every once in a while (Adrian Peterson). He was fantastic in school. Sorry that he got picked by such a sucky team.

And I personally believe Atlanta's winning season is a fluke. I'm sure they'll be back to their old ways soon.

3. Yeah, But They Were Hibernating In OCTOBER!
That's not winter! So, there must be another reason for the stink. And trust me, i watched as much of all 16 games as i could take. In fact, i was in Manchester England for their Sunday night game, and it was the game of the week there. So, i had to sit in a pub and let the whole world see how rotten they were.

Eeep! You and me, we'll figure out the stink together.

6. Karmic payback for them being such utter and total bad sportsmen
in the 80s when they were headed by That Asshole Ditka and That Other Asshole McMahon and That Other Ignorant Asshole The Fridge and the rest of the Assholes on the team - except Payton, not so much an asshole.

No, they burned whatever karma they might have had through those years of utter assholery and shitty sportsmanship, acting all cocky and doing the SuperBowl Shuffle and being such assholes about their winning streaks and etc.

I've never been so disgusted with a team.

May the next seven generations of Bears suffer under the burden of their sin.

10. No different a grader than they taught me to be in college
You'd really hate what a wrong noun/verb agreement used to get my high school English students.

:-)

What it really is, is a sign from God saying "Look - what do I have to do to get you people to stop supporting Da Bears, and start supporting my team, the Packers? Burn Chicago down again? Sheesh, you FIBs be clueless. Well, when you get to Heaven and see it's all green and gold and 25 degrees below zero with a battalion of weber grills cooking brats, you'll get the point."

That's what God is saying.

A great thing about Green bay are their fans.

You see them, even on the coldest day, outside the before game tailgating. They eat bratwurst after bratwurst, pounds of cheese, guzzling gallons of beer while stroking their mustaches and slapping their distended bellies. And the men are just as bad.

11. Please...Lions fan here
At least you've won a Super Bowl. We've never even been to one! The only team that might be historically worse is the Cardinals. But at least the Cardinals have taken their unique brand of sucking to three different cities during their existence. With the Lions it's been almost 50 years of straight sucking in their entire 80 year existence, all in Detroit.

The Buccaneers sucked during their orange creamsicle uniform years. And the Houston Oilers never did much with powder blue.
But the Honolulu Blue and silver uniforms are one of the few things I like about the Lions.

16. I guess the experiment of playing football with only 10 players on offense
Has to be judged a failure. Next year, they'll probably hire a quarterback and go back to playing football the old-fashioned way. It was a noble attempt at cost control, relying on defense to take care of offense as well, but I think even its most rabid backers have to admit that, in retrospect, failing to field an offense was a glaring weakness of the 2004 season.

30. Well, Here's The Deal
See, there were 11 people, but since two of them were only half as talented as needed in the NFL, it just seemed like a 10 man offense.

So, there was no innovation. Merely stench.

playing offense with 11 players who are good enough to play in the NFL just was not fair. Kinda like pre-blackship Japan and gunpowder.
