Watching poker on tv.......

Just when I thought NOTHING could be more boring than watching golf.

1. I don't understand the proliferation of POKER on TV!

My brother in law loves it as do several co workers. I can barely sit through a real card game long enough to finish it, let alone watch it on television.

I guess if I had insomnia then it might help to put me to sleep.

... to watch it a lot, I found it fascinating. If you don't know the game and want to learn it, what better way?

I got bored with it once I understood each play, but that took a while.

on edit: I'm talking about the pros, the celebrity games were usually boring.
