DAMN, IT'S COLD!
Just went outside to start my car, and now I feel like a bloody icicle. It's currently 5 degrees in Coventry, Connecticut, with a wind chill factor of -15! Oughta make my delivery-driving job nice and pleasant, huh? :scared:

3. It was 54 below in Minnesota yesterday
so I hardly feel qualified to complain about 15 above in Maryland.

4. Keep your birdfeeders topped off!
Edited on Tue Jan-18-05 09:24 AM by Divernan
I have got a mixed flock of cold but well fed birds in my yard - have feeders in front, back and one side yard. I'm talking juncos, finches, sparrows, tufted titmouses, chickadees, nuthatches, cardinals, bluejays and one lovely red-bellied woodpecker. We're expecting windchill of 11 below!

6. it's even colder in southern NH
and the wind is just WHIPPING through the yard. It's 0 on the thermometers and the wind looks like a stiff 25 MPH.

Brrrrrrr... I'm staying in today.

8. Now it is up to 15 in South Jersey
with wind chill of -1. At 7:45 am when I was walking to my first class it was probably 10 degrees colder. First day of classes, negative wind chill temps and I've got a cold to boot. I'm going back to bed until 11.

13. 15, and my train was late
and the "station" is nothing more than a bus shelter, where the wind can blow in the 18" space above and below the "walls"
