I'm sick, the wife is sick, the baby's well
Baby goes out on the town, and brings back the flu. So we spend all night for 4 nights in a row waking up in the middle of the night, taking his temperature, feeding him, etc.

Now of course, he's well, and WE'RE sick - so although we're sleeping at night, baby wants to play all the time. AAAAARGGGGH!!!!!

1. im sorry.. it must suck
to be sick and have to take care of a baby too. No energy from being sick, and nothing takes more energy than figuring out what is wrong with baby and fixing it. You have my sympathy.

3. As a parent, I must say ...
you either die within first few years of having a baby, or you develop the STRONGEST immunities known to mankind. Just kidding - most of us just get tough.

My hubby suffered the worst because he works out of the house, and we bring it home to him.

Hang in there. Prayers are with you. This will only last a few days.
