Since Garden State - I've been checking out "The Shins"

Great band... it was nice to know something interesting is out there.

Anyone else a fan?

1. I've got some of their stuff.

I know that hedges and Wat are fans as well. I like them well enough. It's kind of interesting that the Shins are actually the second version of the band. The first version realeased a few albums that didn't do nearly as well. Then they changed things around, became the Shins, and now it's all this.

ON EDIT: Oops, I stand corrected, it has dropped to #2 since the last time I looked. Still a good album though. (can we still say "albums?")

But their "bug song" New slang... has something really cool going on...put I can't put my finger on it.

In all honestly, a great band though.
