Poll question: Ash or Frodo,? Klatu Veratu N-*cough* Sword and Sorcery movie contest.
Which one would you rather watch again? or do you have another favorite sword and sorcery franchise you prefer?

The multi million dollar trilogy or the low budget trilogy.

All hail Bruce!

1. They both are good
But different, and not from just a budgetary difference.

Depends on what I'm interested in at the moment. I went with LOTR mostly because I tend to get more lost in it and it affects me more. Evil Dead is just pure escapism.

4. Absolutely
And it is definitely mood dependent. I am very glad both exist.

BTW, ever seen Bubba-hotep?

5. Just saw it recently
Wasn't everything I had hoped it would be. It was amusing... but it didn't hold me.

6. Considering it was a Joe Lansdale book
Who is a master of very complicated characters, I'm surprised they did as well with it as they did. I enjoyed it though. Again though you have to be in the mood for it.

7. I blame the editting
The characters were interesting. Their portrayal very interesting. But ... it just didn't hang together. But eh. Thats why we each get an opinion of our own. :D Heck I love the movie 1776 and this has caused many to question my sanity.

Gutsy move and typical Bruce in an untypical way.

10. I liked Bubba Ho Tep
I found it a bit more entertaining with the "Elvis" commentary on.

3. We just did a butt-numb-athon with the extended versions of LOTR
And we are up for it again. I don't think I could take 12 hours of Ash. But 12 hours of Middle Earth is just a visit.

11. No contest here.
Almost like the "John Lennon or Ashlee Simpson" or "Bob Dylan or Avril Lavigne" polls.
The answer, obviously, is LOTR. I've read the books, have the EEs for all 3, etc.
