Shoveling snow is one of the best forms of exercise. The only problem here is the wind twenty to thirty mile an hour guests. I can't wait for my wife to get here thirty years then we are heading south.

3. Actually, Chicago's not really in the lake-effect snow zone
Now, the U.P. of Michigan or upstate New York, that's a different story.

4. Western Michigan about a half hour from Lake Michigan.
We get way to much lake effect snow here. I do understand why bears hibernate.

6. I told my Repuke wife that I'M moving to Florida when she retires.
If she doesn't like it she can stay here, I'M fed up with it. The driveway is to small for a snow blower. Last night the twenty mile an hour winds made the snow over my ankles and between my knees.

7. As a lifelong NYer, I suggest
you put all the snow in one pile, dig yourself out an igloo, climb in, and pretend you are 13 again.

11. I am no fan of shoveling snow
but my husband and I are planning to move to Duluth, MN from Columbus, OH as soon as we can manage it. Besides the fact that we are old Minnesota liberals we love Duluth and Lake Superior. Also, there is more than the physical climate to consider. According to a recent Paririe Home Companion show, 90 percent of the people in Duluth voted and according to the Minnesota papers 70 percent of them voted for Kerry. I feel I have earned the right to spend my golden years with people like me even if I have to freeze my butt off. I wouldn't go to FL if you gave me the place and I lived a year in TX and I won't go there again either.
