Was watching Boogie Nights OMG what a great supporting cast
Edited on Mon Jan-24-05 10:31 AM by Mike Daniels
I saw it when it initially came out in the theaters and it just hit me while watching it on DVD how many great "name" supporting actors were in that movie.

Don Cheadle, Heather Graham, William H. Macy, Phillip Hoffman, Robert Ridgely, Luis Guzman, John Reilly, Tony Jay, Phillip Hall, Alfred Molina, Thomas Jane....

Has there ever been another movie that had that many supporting actors playing characters that had roles that affected the story vs. serving as window dressing?

BTW, what was the Col. James character actually arrested for...i.e. what did they find in his home (as referenced in his conversation from jail with Jack Horner)? Was it child porn or were there supposed to be actual kids in his house?

5. I actually considered her to be a lead part in the movie
along with Wahlberg and Reynolds what with all the screen time she got.

I guess she could be considered supporting though in which case she should be added to the list.
