Aspartame gives me headaches and it definitely has an impact on my memory. My mom, who was a lifelong diabetic and Diet Coke addict died of brain cancer a few years ago... so now I steer clear.

Ascesulfame K is allegedly almost as sketchy, but if you get the Diet Pete's choice I'm pretty sure it just has the Splenda.

I just order the syrup and add it to seltzer water, since I don't want to use Philly tap water.
