I Confess, I Actually Voted For Ross Perot!
There, got that off my chest and it feels good!

By the way, I live in New York which is a comfortably Democratic State.

6. Don't feel bad. I did too, right before I became a social worker.
That's when I saw the light (in 1993).

Now, can this be our horrible little secret?

Proud to say that I've voted for the Democrats ever since, and am the biggest progressive around, now.

9. He helped keep Bush 41 on the defensive in '92,
Edited on Mon Jan-24-05 05:44 PM by elperromagico
attacking him on the bad economy while Clinton attacked him on the bad economy and everything else.

And he did take votes away from Bush 41. Not enough to sway the election - I believe Clinton would have won anyway - but enough to give Bush 41 the smallest percentage of the vote for an incumbent since Taft.

I never got the sense that Perot hated Clinton - perhaps he wasn't overly fond of the Big Dog, but I don't think he hated him. However, it's well known that he hated Bush 41.

Plus, his bizarre manner and befuddled running mate made the '92 debates among the most entertaining in the history of televised debates.

So, I can't begrudge you your vote. :hi:
