Craig Gannon was the true genius of The Smiths.

10. I shall ignore that statement...
As we all know the true genius of the Smiths was Mike Joyce.

17. I'm convinced Phranc grew up to be Ani di Franco.
It must be so.

Real genius behind The Smiths? Myra Hindley.

... now Marley. Let me guess, you don't think Prince is all that.

Because then, we could finally agree

23. Your really are clueless...
... Prince sucks, and not just a little. He ruined the R&R Hall of Fame induction of George Harrison with a performance the musical equivalent of a pink fart in a punch bowl.

I cannot stand the puny little fuck. And you have the musical taste of a cretin.

21. That is one thing that bugs me about him.
The tokenism - like he's the one black reggae guy that white suburbanites have decided to patronize.

Marley was great to me but hes not the only one by far. Don't blame it on him though, I Think he would hate how cult like hes become.

It just seems for many people I know, Bob Marley = Reggae, and that pisses me off. You've obviously got good taste in reggae.

I just love every little old thing about it.

Except "One Love", so overplayed and gets on my nerves besides.

29. oh, I know, I know
punishment:

You have to live in the Jamaican ghetto & work 7 days a week, 13 hours a day in the heat in a sugar cane field so you can put a little food on the table for your family... You have a light bulb for a lamp... and your youngest boy's biggest dream is to escape the ghetto & see the world. And every day he looks to you for strength & reassurance that he will get out... but you can't buy him a decent pair of shoes.

And the only thing that maintains your sanity & faith is Jah Rastafari... Knowing in the deepest recesses of your soul that behind this suffering there is some sort of logic, some sort of reason.

The songs might sound better after that.

32. It doesn't matter what his background was.
Either I like the songs or I don't. If I patronized him because he'd had a hard background, that'd make me a racist.
