Beyond The Sea was SO MUCH BETTER THAN "Ray!" And Jesus he SANG and I mean dead-on, but without being a Rich Little type imitator, jeez he was so good and they reproduced the orig Darin arrangements and everything rather than LIP SYNCING I mean nothing against Jamie Foxx but hell!! Kev was robbed and the whole movie was robbed -- Art Direction maybe?? Costumes?

Don't believe the Acad Voters, they're a bunch of cornballs. Go go go see Beyond The Sea!

6. Bobby Darin was ROBBED...ROBBED I TELL YOU!!!

I mean, Kevin Spacey looks...what...30 years older than Darin was when he DIED. Plus listening to Spacey trying to emulate Darin's hep cool-cat way of talking with his usual sarky, somewhat effete drone just ain't makin' it. And watching him put the make on Kate Bosworth is more cause for creeps.

I loved Bobby Darin, as an actor and a singer. Kevin Spacey is no Bobby Darin.

7. I'll have to agree with you--I love Spacey-think he's a brilliant act

but I just wasn't feeling the love for Beyond the Sea. It was okay, but I thought Ray was much better.

Soo much better than lipsyncing! I thought he did an awesome job...I loved Bobby D and Spacey did him proud, even Dodd Darin agrees.

Yeah Bobby was 37 when he died & KS is in his 40s but who cares. He swings, baby!!

Best of the Biopix & most ignored IMO....about singer Bobby Darin (his life was like several lifetimes in one, although he died at 37)

Loved the dialogue in the parts about Bobby Kennedy -- Bobby D was a huge Bobby K supporter and I feel that he purposely made correlations by leaving out "Vietnam" and the name of the president, like the Bobby D character would say "The president is lying to us about this war!" YEAH! That got lots of applause where I watched it at least...

Aviator & Ray are really overrated IMO! Good acting in the lead roles but not as well directed as Beyond The Sea.
