3. Wow...Max Headroom.
A TV show based on a virtual spokesman for a failed soft drink. Is this when the realized cocaine was a problem?

7. The Tracey Ullman Show and Night Court
I remember those, they were great. I haven't watched television in probably 7 or 8 years. Survivor? American Idol? Gawd forbid. x(

8. I watched a few of those shows from time to time.
I spent half of 1987 pregnant and the other half caring for an infant who didn't like to sleep. TV was my friend.

15. Oh, man...
Thursdays were great - Cosby Show, Different World, Cheers, and Night Court (the best). I also really liked, "I Married Dora" and "Max Headroom" because of the Latin and the English women who starred in them - Elizabeth Pena and Amanda Pays respectively.

Matt Frewer (Max Headroom) could out-Jim Carrey Jim Carrey at times.

Elizabeth Pena was in it. She's done much better. The ending was kind of funny though.

21. "Women In Prison" on Fox? Shouldn't that be late-night HBO?
I mean, nude shower scenes at 8:30? 227 didn't stand a chance. Let's see...click over from Blair and company in their "Facts Of Life" girlschool show...

24. I imagine no one but me remembers "Mr. President"
George C. Scott in a sitcom, playing a fictitious President of the United States. The problem with the show was the fact that it was "humor impaired"

Like everybody would watch Cosby and go straight through to Night Court! Family Ties was in that schedule in previous years too.

32. I doubt if the networks today would have the balls to do a show called...
"My Two Dads". The Neanderthal mouth breathers on the religious right would have a aneurysm over it.
