Do You Have A Local Story That Should Be On City Confidential?
maybe a brief synopsis and a link or two. I have always been a fan of true crime stories with a hint of local flavor!

I live in a very small town in Appalachia, true crime stories around here tend to be a shooting over a card game or someone vandalizing mail boxes :)

13. Around 8,000 in the town limits....
certainly a decent size town by West Virginia standards. Where are you originally from?

3. Yes, the city i grew up had and may still have a corrupt
police dept, in fact a movie was made about it and a book called "the cops are robbers", i went to school with one of the perps daughters. City confidential would do a great job although it's not thesame without Paul Winfield.

4. Okay, a Pittsburgh story with North Carolina connection.
In 1990, Timothy Boczkowski's wife Elaine drowns in the bathtub of their North Carolina home. Her death is ruled inconclusive.

He and Elaine have three small children. After her death, he moves back to the Pittsburgh area to be near his family. He meets and marries his second wife Mary Ann. In 1994, Mary Ann is found dead in the hot tub of their Pittsburgh home. He claims that she got drunk and drowned in the hot tub.

Long story short, he was convicted of the murders of both of his wives and is currently serving a life sentence in PA. He also received a life sentence from the state of North Carolina. Really a fascinating and so very sad story. His children are now either grown or in their late teens.

9. He is an stone cold killer. I guess he did them both for money, too.
In Googling for links, the first thing that comes up is a link to Pen Pals for inmates in PA. There's his name, all right. Probably trying to find wife #3!

And such a normal looking person, too. Evil truly is banal, I guess.

12. A murder and dismemberment
which is still fresh in everyone's mind around here. It is horrific and involves teens, sex, and who knows what else. The murder apparently took place in Moline, IL and went to other cities in the area. The alleged killers took the young lady's body to a state park in Rock Island and went to someones farm to find a saw to cut the body up. But wait, theres more, they tried to burn the body as well. There are currently two counts of first degree murder pending against two teens and aiding and abetting against another. Oh yeah, unfortunately, this has all the elements for true crime tv. When its all said and done, there could be capital charges aginst at least one of these animals, er, alleged killers. For more info see www.qctimes.com or www.qconline.com.
