Just shows how totally over the edge our country has gone in terms of leadership. The majority keep giving this spewer of vomitous bile and lies standing ovations.

I can't tell if I'm watching some from America, or a Riefenstahl film.

6. I wish our dem leaders had some courage and bravado
They should be booing all the time, and yelling out "LIES!" every chance they get.

Fuck protocol.

This isn't Reagan just spouting nonsense. This is fascism reincarnated on a path to world destruction.

5. Yes and he just blatantly played on sympathy...
...for that poor woman who lost her son in Iraq. I wonder if she will cry tears of rage when she finally figures out what Iraq is REALLY all about?

7. I hope she does - figure it out, that is.
I was very saddened to see the mom and dad (I assumed that waws a mom and dad, right?) being so blatantly used for political reasons and so worshipful of the Fuhrer. "We're just so thankful that our son could die for you, O Glorious God Emperor!"

They looked like typical low-education freepers who think love of country is the same as love of God, cuz that's what they're cadillac driving pastor tells them every Sunday.

8. You know the have Riefenstahl's Will of Powe available on Netflix
I was half tempted to put it in my queue so I can learn more about propaganda and to be able to better recognize it when I see it. It would be a great comparision to the propaganda I see today

9. Rove et. al. studied very well at the feet of Nazis and Stalin and
other regimes that were built on propaganda.

They know how to use it very well.

11. They can't help it
Knowing Karl Rove, he's put devices in the chairs the give's them an electic shock that forces them to stand at the appropriate times.
