OMG MY FAVORITE COMPANY NEEDS A TEMP AGAIN

my temp agency just called, this company i worked an assignment for that i LOVED needs someone again. she just has to find out if they will take me back.

please, as hard as you can in the next few minutes, please please please pray that they take me back!!!! this is so exciting but i'm trying not to get my hopes up :(

3. the craziest part is

last night i was thinking of emailing my resume to this company to let them know how much i enjoyed working for them, and asking to call me if any positions become available.

at a place where I applied for a permanent job last month!

You either temp or starve. but if you have too much temp work on your resume, permanent employers think you're a frivilous job-hopper or a "head case" who can't hold a job.

This is no lifestyle for someone who has a car and a high-speed internet connection to support. How do you get off this merry-go-round.

7. the people

the people the people! i had so much fun there man. well, at least in the department i used to work in. but seeing ANY of them will be great.

i love what they do. they remanufacture toner/ink cartridges for printers. they do a lot of work for all the major Printer companies (HP, etc.)

i just loved the atmosphere and the people, really. ugh, she still didn't call back, i am trying not to get my hopes up because i don't handle disappointment well :(

it's still very ODD that i was just thinking about them, though, isn't it?

temp agency just called again, she emailed them about me saying i would love to come back and work for them. the HR manager said she would check with the other people and see what they think and get back to her.

The time to discuss full time payroll vs temp is when you are on the job as a temp, discretely lay the groundwork, let the right people know you will be an asset to the company and would really like to be a real part of the operation. go slowly and gently. It will work out.
