Do you belong to any book clubs?

At one time, I was subscribing to the Book-of-the-Month Club, The Reader's Subscription, the Library of America (still my favorite), and the History Book Club.

I have pared it down to just the HBC, and waiting for my third invitation to re-join the LOA. My bookcases overfloweth, and I fall further behind.

1. Yes. It's called "grad school" and the books chosen are a drag.

Some glorious day, sometime after May this year, I'll have a life again. Then I'll join the trashiest book club reading list and dive in. I can't wait!

3. No. Last Semester I had to read books that I didn't choose. Now it's

all about ME. Yeah, you heard me right, it's ALL about me.

I signed up with them as part of the "get 6 books for only $1 deal" about a couple years ago -- I still have to buy 4 books from them at regular price (was supposed to over a span of two years). Still, it was a good deal, it's only that I get tired of making sure they don't send me their books-of-the-month.
