Poll question: Do You Hate Anyone Who Had a Pony Growing Up?
After much deliberation and careful consideration on the matter I can say with great confidence...that I do.

3. How would you stop a pony growing up ?

That sounds like it would be a cruel stunt(ing).

5. Ponies are naturally small.

Until about 2 weeks ago, I thought a pony was a baby horse! Even though somewhere in the back of my brain I knew that a baby horse was a foal, I guess I never thought about it. Then it just popped into my brain out of nowhere. Ugh, I disgust myself.

6. Well, never a pony.
But a whole herd of horses. Will that do?

Oh yes, and goats, rabbits, chickens, dogs, cats, and one very large hog.

17. Hahahahaha! You're good!
She was a real character, though. I miss her. She was always good for a laugh (not necessarily a ride, though--she bucked me off more times than I could count and once dragged me halfway across a just-harvested corn field--boot got stuck in the stirrup). She always wanted to know what the vet was doing, so she'd stand about 5" behind him, trying to see. When he'd finally shoo her away, she'd go to his bag, pick it up, dump everything out, and then lay everything out nice and neat so she could sniff it all over. Even the vet cried when we had to put her down for heart failure.

8. I'm sure my friend Marsha hated me.
I had a pony. She was obese. She came to my birthday party and got on the pony. The pony, sensing the huge load on his back, took off down the road, bucking furiously to get her off.

She called her mom to come pick her up. She didn't enjoy my 11th birthday party. :(

11. No, because then I would hate myself
Actually, it wasn't a pony, it was a horse. I had horses all through my childhood and I've kept a few as an adult also so all of you pony-owner-haters may want to hate me. :(

As a matter of fact, just last week, I met a lady who raises and shows Arabs and she needs help exercising them. 8 gorgeous Arabs and I will be playing with them a couple of times a week. Life is good.........

I never wanted a pony. I never understood the pony/horse thing.

But I did hate kids who got everything they wanted....and had a semi-normal existence....but that's another story.;)

I worked around ponies and horses for years in my youth. Of all of the different breeds of horseflesh its ponies that you MUST show greatest respect. They are smart and can 'getchya' when you least expect it!
