And I think you know which one I'm talking about. The o/p, who is a good guy and had a point about something he didn't like, was ripped apart about it. It turned into a real flame fest.

I was in GD Politics earlier today, and everything seemed ok there...congratulations about Howard Dean and all. Haven't been there lately though...not sure if I should. :-)

I think you're OK in GD as long as you can just refrain from expressing an opinion on anything. Especially if it's an opinion contrary to someone else's opinion.
If you should forget and do it anyway, be prepared to duke it out.

As long as you stick to simple, provable statements of fact I think you're OK.
