My overall pet peeve is double standards

I find it a double standard that republicans can whine about Clinton having an affair which was for sure wrong but then be a ok with Newt Gingrich, Henry Hyde, Bob Livingston, Bob Barr having affairs too. I guess to quote Lennon in Gimme Some Truth, "I am sick and tired of narrow minded hypocritics"

3. and the republican mantra "we must support our president"

or else be labeled as unpatriotic, but yet lead an 8 year witch hunt while Clinton was in office.

They criticize us for criticizing Bush in time of war yet they were all over Clinton in Kosovo, and btw I have mixed feelngs on that whole conflict, but we dont have to get in to that :), toooooooo personal.

5. My pet peeve is people who pronounce Iraq "eye-rack"

It drives me up the wall!


I want to kill all people who say it slowly, like it's two words. Eye... rack. :argh:


The first part does not sound like "eye"

It's more like the word 'irregular'

It shows one of their (indian?) newsreaders trying to drum that out of a new and dim-looking hire. The new hire keeps saying "eye-rack" and the newsreader keeps saying "No! It's ur-rack!"
