Finding out your dad had a stroke due to high blood pressure gives a person a hell of a kick in the ass. Other than that, I just cut down, basically cutting my smoking in 1/2 every week, until this week when I am not smoking

I quit a year ago. Or at least I quit smoking habitually a year ago.

I'm lucky, I've always been able to take it or leave it. Never had the urge to go rushing out to get smokes when I would run out.

I limit myself to the occasional cigar these days. Gettin' older you know.
