WINS CLASSICAL GRAMMY

Beth Pflueger, associate professor of music at Glendale Community College, earned a Grammy award for her recorded piccolo performance with a chamber music group.
The Grammy awards were presented Sunday, Feb. 13 in Los Angeles.
Pflueger performed with the Southwest Chamber Music ensemble that won a Grammy for Best Small Ensemble Performance, Classical. The winning recording is part of a series of the chamber music of Mexican composer Carlos Chavez.
