What historical figure do you compare Bill Frist with?

I think of him as the SPCA equivalent of Josef Mengele, the Nazi doctor who did all sorts of horrid expieriments at Auschwitz.
Frist just used cats instead of people.

I have even gotten in flamewars when people have taken the Bush/GOP--Hitler/Nazi thing too far myself.
I don't think it is accurate and in a way is diminishing the 40 million who died directly because of the Nazis, wether by outright murder or as a result of the war

5. Bill Frist has the whiff of an Inquisitor about him.

He reminds me sometimes of one of the Inquisitors the old Church used to send out into the populace to administer several excommunications and a handful of burnings-at-the-stake.

There's a sense of an unexamined life in him, too. A narrowness, moralistically defined.

I'm still mad at him for actively campaigning in South Dakota against Daschle. I think the senate leaders should observe the protocol of staying out of their opposition party leader's re-election campaigns.
