Just curious.. your thoughts

Over the years here in California, a couple police and firemen have been killed or have died while on duty. Everyone of them is given a hero's funeral, and righteously so, but who pays for the thousands of police and firemen to come to the funeral from all over the state, and at times
from all over the country? Again, who's nickle do they travel on?

know if they're on the clock or not. I really think the deceased is worthy of the honor...whether it's on my tax dime or not. :hi:

the UP is cool; when our athletic band goes to detroit for the CCHA finals, we always hang out with the NMU people. you can be a spartan, or whatever, just not a wolverine.
