1. My ferrets, my kitty, my volunteer work

my husband, candy, warm blankets, etc.

2. it used to be playing guitar..

my current job makes my hands hurt so i don't really play much anymore.

And as I am an unrepentant cynic I find it difficult to admit that when I hear of strangers helping other strangers it moves me to happiness.

I gave my mother a subscription to a corn-ball mag she wanted called "Angels on Earth," and I find myself reading the poorly written stories about people whose deeds may, or may not make them angels. LOL (It is doubly funny because I am a literature/art/philosophy snob, and the stories are written on a 6th grade level and the authors theological arguments tend to have as much sophistication of a kindergartener.)

4. My girlfriend Kathy.

We met online when I was 48 and fair to partly miserable. Now 3 years later we have lived together for over 2 years, have relocated to the mountains, and I have not had an unhappy day in so long I can't remember.
