Edited on Tue Feb-22-05 05:47 PM by Longgrain
And I don't mean just visual artists like me, you musicians, photographers, writers, theater people...you're all welcome too!

And of course you can always meet some of us over in the Groups...

2. Most of us artists are unfortunately
too lazy to do so.

3. What's the topic?
What's it like to be a superior artist?

;-)

4. Why can't I be smart too?
I had a 4.0 in college.

I guess I'm just all around perfect

6. I had a 4.0 several times when I was in college...
Then i realized it was an art school and many of the academic classes were intentionally dumbed down...

17. For texture, I'm better with warts
and slime. (I draw frogs.) However, sparing you the warts, here's a hairy bunny drawn from the Durer "young hare".

14. Thanks.
I think I don't like the chalky look. I did a seagull in pastels. Would have been nice, except it was chalk. :)

I have one watercolor that looks like oil. I like that better. I needed to choose something for here that actually fit.

10. I should start an "inferior artists" thread for this one...
...but here's a song I wrote, performed and recorded a few years ago:

13. OMG those are great
I especially like the fireworks one...I thought you wowed me to the limits with some of your other stuff but these are awesome...

Of course I've never done any sort of typography or graphic design, just good ol' fashion paint on canvas, so what do I know.

15. well, I'm a professional, but think the word "superior" is odd...
I would never call myself that, not sure why the thread is titled that way.
also not sure why being an artist is mutually exclusive to being smart?

even further not sure what the point of the thread is?

16. Unfortunately this was a copycat thread
Edited on Tue Feb-22-05 05:53 PM by Longgrain
the original was something like "Superior Intellects check in here"

Unfortunately the original is now gone...

On edit, I just changed the title and removed all references to intelligence from the original message...
