So, is Korn broken up now?
Since the guitarist has found religion and left the band, I wonder if that means that Korn is broken up.

1. One can only hope...
That band ushered in one of the worst eras in rock history.

4. Yes, exactly....
All the mysogony and egotism of hair metal and cock rock but with the self seriousness and faux angst of the grunge era, without any of the redeeming qualities of either of those things.

Considering most of them all ripped off of Rage Against the Machine, their utter idiocy and lack of awareness was ironic at best, horrrifying and offensive at worst.

9. Another thing utterly idiotic....
...About 2 years ago, I found out that Fred Durst and Limp Bizkit had the audacity to think they could get away with covering a Who song. They did a cover of "Behind Blue Eyes" and it was atrocious. That song was a classic. I know Pete Townsend is a little eccentric but if I was him and Fred Durst came to me asking me if he could cover one of my tunes, I would have said "Fuck no".

2. I agree
Not a Korn fan...

Maybe they could re-form as a European andogenously gay metal band, and call themselves:

Kayro-Negro

11. and i think they have been getting better
Edited on Sat Feb-26-05 06:24 PM by Faye
as time goes by. i didn't really like the first album that much. i like their more melodic shit. Jonathan Davis' singing was really developing into something that really stood out to me. he has his moments when he just sounds SO good....and he's so damn dramatic.....

did you get a chance to catch the video for Y'all Want a Single? I think launch.yahoo.com still has it if you haven't. It's a great dig at corp. music.

and the song. the verses are insane...i love the beat and the way they sing it....no matter how bad anyone wants to try and trash Korn, they are so original and have a sound all of their own. i still think they fucking rule.
