I just took a bullshit bath in GD, and I can't believe the amount of ignorance and hatred being spewed. It is a joy to be back in the Lounge where I don't have to listen to how I have to give up my rights, why the confederate flag is OK, and how we brought free elections to Iraq.

The problem I have with it lately is that people are very, very quick to be insulted and angry with you for the most innocent of remarks. Hell, I could mention that I enjoy drinking tea and they'd find something offensive about it. There's no well-reasoned debate there anymore. What used to be the place to go for well-reasoned arguments has degraded into a cable pundit shouting match.
